at a theme park they drained all the fountains of water and started pumping oxygen through them. they encouraged everyone to go stand in the new fountains because it was holistic. the fountains were packed full and no one was on the rides. people dressed like stereotypical pilgrims were trying to entice people to ride the rides by offering them cheesecake.

  1. I like the idea of oxygen pumping fountains, but cheesecake before a roller coaster seems like a bad idea.

  2. i agree, cheesecake before a rollercoaster is a terrible idea. i'd take the cheesecake and skip the ride, but i'm not a rollercoaster person at all. i get carsick on perfectly flat, straight pieces of road. the only part of that dream that i can really explain are the pilgrims. i'm sure they came from my being in the middle of reading Sarah Vowell's new book, The Wordy Shipmates. the rest of it, well, your guess is as good as mine.
